10 Rules for Building a Business

1. Commit to your business.
2. Share your profits with all your associates, and treat them as partners.
3. Motivate your partners.
4. Communicate everything you possibly can to your partners.
5. Appreciate everything your associates do for the business.
6. Celebrate your success.
7. Listen to everyone in your company.
8. Exceed your customers’ expectations.
9. Control your expenses better than your competition.
10. Swim upstream.

 When I read through the list, I find it very similar to build a team as a manager.

1. Commit to your work and your team.
   
2. Treat your teammates as partners.
3. Motivate your team.
4. Communicate everything you possibly can to your team.
5. Praise your team.
6. Celebrate your success. Have fun.
7. Listen to everyone in your team.
8. Exceed your customers' expectations.
9. Think two minutes before spend the company's money. (if you think one minute before spend your money)
   
10. Innovate or die.
